professore.de is the e-learning specialist
Our e-learning expertise
In business, public administration and academia it is increasingly important to present topics clearly in electronic form and enable didactically sound, sustainable learning.
professore.de develops tailored learning environments and curricula for e-learning applications together with clients. We also offer training and coaching with our own e-learning modules on leadership, project management and human resources development.
Our technical basis is app programmes (mobile learning) and web-based training (WBT).
Mobile learning
An interesting variant of e-learning is mobile learning. Depending on client needs we develop, among other things:- Training for specialist and basic staff,
- Advanced seminars for trainees and junior managers, and
- Refresher seminars for managers and specialists.
Mobile learning does not require elaborate learning platforms.
By linking to apps, learning content can be worked through without an internet connection. Learning, practice and consolidation can take place anytime with smartphone or tablet — on the bus or on a plane, outside the usual seminar setting. App-based mobile learning opens up new "learning on demand" opportunities and new learning occasions.
With mobile learning settings we can implement existing content from conventional seminars with little effort and place client content quickly and affordably in a mobile learning app, accessible and workable on the ubiquitous smartphone as needed.
Example topics:
- Company guidelines / onboarding,
- Basic training hygiene and quality management,
- Leadership training (app learning to prepare for and follow up workshops),
- Basic project management training (preparation for certification),
- Mandatory training for care staff (e.g. implementing expert standards),
- Training for fire safety officers, occupational safety officers, security officers…
Blended learning
Blended learning means a mix of different learning formats. E-learning can prepare participants for subsequent workshops. After the workshop, groups can work through case studies and answer learning success questions. Blended learning can be based on a learning platform or designed as mobile learning with apps. Together with our clients we develop multimedia, interactive learning modules that make learning enjoyable. In our blended learning seminars, where self-study phases, exercises, tests and workshops alternate, employees acquire required foundational knowledge online and deepen it in workshops with trainers and coaches.
That frees time for practice-oriented, experiential learning and individual coaching during workshops.
Didactically sound, sustainable learning
Sound e-learning didactics is the foundation for sustainable learning. We follow scientific findings and assume that people learn most sustainably when they have their own questions and seek solutions. Learning must be interactive and spark curiosity for more. "The human brain is not optimised for rote memorisation and acquiring knowledge, but for solving problems" (Hüther 2010, p. 88).
Learners gain insights in individual ways, building on prior experience and anchoring them structurally in the brain. This ongoing process activates cognitive and emotional networks. Learning succeeds especially well when content is emotionally engaging and experienced as meaningful, triggering neuroplastic messengers such as dopamine or endorphins. How much learning offerings are used depends less on their technical quality than on how individuals evaluate them through experience.
Multimedia, interactive learning modules
In our blended learning seminars you will not face walls of text. We work with clients on learning objectives, then tailor our video-based modules to target groups. Our e-learning solutions are- easy to use,
- multimedia and interactive,
- target-group specific,
- easy to administer,
- long proven yet modern and innovative,
- the medium for liberated, sustainable learning.
Custom e-learning modules and blended learning
We produce custom e-learning. Together with clients we develop the curriculum, support project communication, produce learning materials and design face-to-face events, provide trainers and coaches, supply the learning platform, advise on evaluation and continuous improvement, and can manage the entire project on request.
