Digitalisation in adult education
Digitalisation in adult education
The term "adult education" describes non-vocational learning for adults. Unlike vocational training, offerings for volunteers are usually central. In adult education we often work with people who want low-threshold access to information and to solve practical problems quickly on the spot. That confronts us with different educational requirements than in workplace training.Mobile learning
For technical innovation in adult education, elaborate learning systems as still found in professional contexts are often out of place. We need small, flexible techniques tailored to each practical problem that work independently of platforms and network connections while still enabling sustainable learning. That is where mobile learning is the technology of choice.
Mobile learning in voluntary service
For members of volunteer fire services or aid organisations, mobile learning apps can be developed that make organising their work easier and are easy to access. Volunteers can be prepared quickly, flexibly and up to date for their area of deployment with digital courses and orient themselves better on site via smartphone.
Mobile learning for family carers
Family carers can use video-based courses quickly and flexibly on their mobile phone to address their specific care problems. We are responsible not only for the technology of the courses. On care topics we prepare learning videos, for example by turning hard-to-read care standards into scripts for low-threshold courses that make life easier for carers.professore.de in adult education
professore.de is committed to mobile learning applications in adult education because flexible techniques are especially needed here. We want to make adult education more attractive and easier through digital innovation. If you offer training in adult education and are considering working with professore.de to digitise your courses, please get in touch.Europe-wide exchange on digitising educational offerings in adult education
professore.de is currently running a mobility project funded by the EU ERASMUS+ programme. In this framework we exchange with European institutions that provide adult education and are interested in developing mobile learning and blended learning. We want to learn from these institutions and use what we learn innovatively at professore.de. In turn, we can share our experience with mobile learning courses with other education providers.Teilen:
